DISCRIPTION
AFFF 3%, is a synthetic, aqueous film forming fire extinguishing foam concentrate,
based on surface active agents. Special surfactants, fluorinated components and freeze protection
characterise the composition of this outstanding product. Using only the latest C6 t
fluorinated components contained in
EU 757/2010

Packaging
AFFF 3% is available in UV protected 20L, 30L capacity HDPE pails or 200L capacity
HDPE drums and IBC (totes) as per IS
Storage
When stored in the packaging supplied (polyethylene drums or pails) and
within the temperature limits specified, the shelf life of
3% concentrate is about 10 years. Maximum
temperature is 1.7 ̊C to 49°C. if the product
transportation, thawing will render the product completely usable.
Mixing after freeze thaw Cycling is recommended

AFFF 3% is approved as fire extinguishing agent for fires of class A and B according to the following standards: UL162 IS 4989:2018
Compatibility with powder
AFFF 3% is suitable for the combined use with foam compatible dry chemical powders.
